Same as Seahorse I just used oxide to darken the silver so the detail will pop. It now looks more finished to me because before all the detail of the binding was lost.

I did not carve the seahorse it is a bone bead i bought.

It's been some time since the first version of this piece was made as i remember this, and I stick by my description to the original version. You do good, quality work, and it's very artistic.

Making the silver darker, giving it an aged look, was a good choice IMO. Like you said, the details show more clearly.
